I am an accredited BACP psychotherapist with extensive clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and couples across a range of presenting difficulties. My practice integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and solution-focused strategies, tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications

SCOTACS Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork – A Cognitive Behavioural Approach (SCQF Level 10)

COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills – (SCQF Level 8)

Clinical Practice

I provide a Psychological service which is evidence-based, working within the NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines. I integrate several psychological models including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy) to tailor intervention to the needs of the individual or couple. 

I have also undertaken additional specialist training in the following areas:

  • Depression and anxiety in young people
  • Addiction
  • Self-harm
  • Disordered eating and body image
  • Body dysmorphia
